This is where I live.

It’s a beautiful, small cottage across a trickling creek from a precious wooden chapel. Of course, I’m not the clergy, but this house, my home, embodies everything that a Parsonage should. As Wadsworth said, this place is a “… domain where kindred, friends, and neighbours rest together, here confound, their several features, mingled like the sound
of many waters, or as evening blends with shady night.”
We welcome all.

This sweet abode is where our found items rest, after searching far and wide to bring you storied treasures. Whether it’s antique, fine furnishings, obscure bits of places I’ve been, or modern items that represent all that we love, The Parsonage is certain to house what you’re looking for. A gift for someone you love or a gift for yourself, there’s no doubt that one of our birds has discovered something for you to take home.

We’re offering these items on-line very soon as well as at our brick and mortar location in Walterboro, South Carolina, in the wild and wonderful halls of:

A Parsonage in Oxfordshire

Where holy ground begins, unhallowed ends,
Is marked by no distinguisable line;
The turf unites, the pathways intertwine;
And, wheresoe'er the stealing footstep tends,
Garden, and that domain where kindred, friends,
And neighbours rest together, here confound
Their several features, mingled like the sound
Of many waters, or as evening blends
With shady night. Soft airs, from shrub and flower,
Waft fragrant greetings to each silent grave;
And while those lofty poplars gently wave
Their tops, between them comes and goes a sky
Bright as the glimpes of eternity,
To saints accorded in their mortal hour.

William Wadsworth
